Five kilometers from Gorey, a town in North Wexford, lies the picturesque and difficult Courtown Golf Club. The 1936-founded golf course was expanded to 18 holes in 1974. It was constructed on a plot of land that was formerly a part of the old Courtown estate. It offers a welcome diversion from many a bad round thanks to its expansive views of the South Irish Sea and the lovely North Wexford coast. With a par of 71 and almost 6000 meters in length, Courtown is an established parkland course. Every fairway is designed to reward accurate golfers and penalize those who play poorly.

Helen’s Bay Golf Club
Helen’s Bay Golf Course, a stunning parkland course nestled on a gentle hill at the mouth of Belfast Lough, was constructed more than a century ago. The Marquis of Dufferin and Ava, the Club’s first patron, planted mature trees on the course. These trees, along with the beautifully maintained fairways and small, protected greens kept in pristine condition, provide golfers with a challenging yet enjoyable test of their skills.
