    What time is check-in?

    Check-in time is from 4.00pm onwards. If you plan to arrive at the hotel after midnight, please let our reception team know. If you require an early check-in, we will do our utmost to accommodate. Please note that an earlier check-in is subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed until the day of arrival.     What time is check-out?

    Check-out time is 11.00am. A late check-out until 2.00pm can be arranged for an additional fee. Please contact reservations on +353 (0)53 917 2000 to check availability.

    Does the hotel offer baggage storage?

    Yes, you can leave your luggage with the reception until your room is ready or you are ready to depart.

    Please note that at the moment, due to the Covid pandemic, we are unable to store guests’ personal belongings prior to check-in or after check-out.

    Does the hotel offer free WiFi?

    Yes, Maldron Hotel Wexford offered complimentary high-speed WiFi throughout the entire hotel. It is an open network and no password is required to gain access.

    Is there a laundry service available?

    Yes, we offer a limited same-day laundry service by an outside company. Once items are received before 10am, we strive to have them returning by close of business on the same day. Please note that charges do apply and that the hotel accepts no responsibility for items sent for laundry.

    What do I do if I accidentally left some items in the hotel?

    Are pets permitted in the hotel?

    No, pets are not permitted in the hotel, with the exception of guide and assistance dogs.

    Maldron Hotel Wexford operates a no smoking policy within the entire building. We ask that guests use the designated smoking areas in the hotel courtyard area. Please note that a failure to adhere to this policy will result in an additional cleaning charge.

    How far is the hotel from Wexford town?

    Are there any shopping areas nearby?

    Maldron Hotel Wexford is approximately a 5-minute drive from the main shopping area of Wexford town where you will find many chain stores as well as local boutiques for all your shopping needs.

    How close are public transport links to the hotel?

    Wexford train station is located less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Wexford bus, a private bus company, operates an hourly service to and from Wexford town with a bus stop directly outside the hotel entrance. Wexford Bus also operates hourly services to and from Dublin with stops directly outside the hotel. Bus Eireann bus stop is located a 20-minute walk from the hotel entrance.

    What is there to see and do around the hotel?

    Maldron Hotel Wexford is the perfect base for exploring all that the sunny south-east has to offer. Irish National Heritage Park, Johnstown Castle, Curracloe Beach, Rosslare Strand and so much more are all located within a short driving distance of the hotel.

    Is there a car rental station near the hotel?

    The nearest car rental is Hertz Rental Car which is located in Ferrybank, Wexford a 10-minute drive from the hotel.

    Is parking available at the hotel?

    Yes, we provide complimentary car parking as well as on-site coach parking for hotel residents and guests. Paid parking is available for guests not using the hotel facilities at a charge of €5 per day. Maldron Hotel Wexford does not operate a barrier system on our car park entrance so is perfect for larger vehicles. Vehicles are parked at their own risk in the hotel car park.     The hotel is located only a 20-minute drive from Rosslare Ferryport.

    Are there transport links to the ferry port nearby?

    Yes, we can arrange a private taxi transfer at an additional charge on your behalf or there is a public transport service from Wexford Town to the ferry port.

    What room types does the hotel offer?

    Maldron Hotel Wexford a total of 108 comfortable and spacious hotel rooms. Depending on your needs, you can choose between 4 different room types, including single, double, family and triple rooms. We also a number of interconnecting rooms and balcony rooms available for an additional charge available. Please enquire directly with the hotel to confirm availability.

    Are there wheelchair accessible rooms available?

    Maldron Hotel Wexford has semi adaptable rooms which have a larger floor space, larger bedroom entrance, adapted bathroom facilities with a low-rise bath and an assistance alarm linked directly to the hotel reception. We also have elevators.

    Does the hotel have family rooms?

    Yes, the hotel has a number of larger family rooms that can cater for up 6 guests. We also have a number of interconnecting rooms available at an additional charge.

    Can I get a cot/camp bed for my child?

    Yes, cots and camp beds can be provided at the hotel at no extra charge. Please ensure that they are requested at the booking stage in order to avoid disappointment. Maldron Hotel Wexford cannot confirm the availability of cots/camp beds if only requested on arrival to the hotel.

    Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?

    Unfortunately, our bedrooms are not air-conditioned.

    Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bath?

    All hotel bedrooms have a bath and shower.

    Does the hotel offer wake-up calls?

    Yes, we offer wake-up calls for guests. Please speak to a member of the reception team to request a wake-up call.

    What amenities are included in the room?

    All hotel rooms have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. If you wish to store you belonging safely, safety deposit boxes are available for guest use at the reception.

    What dining options are available at the hotel?

    Our Grain & Grill restaurant is open 7 days a week serving breakfast and dinner. Grain & Gill bar and lounge is also open daily serving bar food until 9:00pm.

    Does the hotel offer breakfast?

    Yes, we are renowned for a great selection of breakfast options available each morning. Choose from traditional cooked breakfast favourites as well as healthier and nutritious options to kickstart your morning. Breakfast is served 7 days a week in our Grain & Grill restaurant, Monday to Friday from 7am to 10am and weekends and Bank Holidays from 7:30am to 10:30am. Should you require breakfast outside of these times for an early morning check-out, please do let us know and we can facilitate a continental or take-away breakfast.
    If breakfast isn’t included in your rate, you can still purchase breakfast for an additional fee.

    What are the opening times of the Grain & Grill?

    Our Grain & Grill bar/restaurant is open for dinner daily from 12:30pm until 9:00pm every night.

    Does the restaurant cater food for allergies?

    Yes, all of our menus have a full allergy listing. Please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding any specific dietary requirements, our kitchen team will be delighted to assist.

    Does Gain & Grill offer a dedicated kid’s menu?

    Yes, we offer a separate kids menu in both Grain & Grill restaurant and Grain & Grill bar and lounge.

    Do you provide room service?

    Yes, in-room dining is available daily. Simply order from our Click & Go menu, available through our Guest Service Platform. The food can be collected at the collection point in our restaurant at your requested time.

    Is there a reservation for dinner required?

    In general, a dining reservation is not required, however, we advise you to book your table to avoid disappointment. Please book online or by calling the hotel on +353 (0)53 917 2000.

    Please note that with the current government guidelines in place, we require all dining including breakfast to be pre-booked prior to/on arrival to the hotel.

    Do you cater for large groups? Can I book a private dining space for a special occasion?

    Yes, we do offer a private dining space for groups. To book, please get in touch via phone on +353 (0)53 917 2000.

    Please note that at the moment due to the current government guidelines, we are unable to cater for larger groups in the hotel. A maximum of 6 guests from no more than 2 households are permitted to dine at one table.

  • Leisure Facilities

    Does the hotel offer a swimming pool, spa and gym facilities on-site?

    Our leisure centre offers a 20m swimming pool with a separate kid’s pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as well as a fully equipped gym. The swimming pool is 1.4 meters deep and the kid’s pool is 0.5 meters deep. We offer both indoor and outdoor classes for members and residents. Please note due to current government restrictions, our jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are closed.

    Body and Soul Treatment rooms are located in Club Vitae Maldron Hotel Wexford as well.

    What are the opening hours of the leisure facilities?

    The leisure facilities at Maldron Hotel Wexford opens from 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 7pm at weekends. Please note children must vacate the facilities one hour prior to normal closing time. Body and Soul treatment rooms are open 7 days a week.

    Due to the current government restrictions, all visits must be pre-booked on our website or by phoning the Club directly on +353 (0)53 917 2088.

    Is there an age limit for using the leisure facilities?

    Children under 16 are not permitted to use the jacuzzi, sauna, steam room of the gym. Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times and must be fully supervised when using the facilities. Children must vacate the facilities one hour prior to normal closing times.

    Is the use of the leisure facilities complimentary for guests?

    All hotel guests have full complimentary use of the leisure facilities.

    What treatments are available at the spa? How do I book a treatment?

    Maldron Hotel Wexford has 2 outdoor playgrounds on the grounds of the hotel as well as a mini-golf course (charges apply).     Maldron Hotel Wexford accepts all forms of major payment including cash, contactless payments and all major credit/debit cards.

    What is the hotel’s credit/debit card policy?

    A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all bookings, unless in cases where this is otherwise stated. Please note nothing is charged to the card at booking stage when booking directly with the hotel (with the exception of advance purchase offers or bookings that require a deposit. This will be clearly noted on the booking offer). Please note that a pre-authorisation if required on check-in should you wish to avail of credit in the hotel and charge items to your room during your stay.

    If a guest wishes to pay cash on arrival, please note that a €100 refundable deposit and proof of ID will be required on check-in.

    What age are children for the purpose of hotel packages?

    Children under the age of 3 can stay complimentary in the hotel. For the purposes of packages, a child is noted as being between the ages of 3 and 12.

    What is the cancellation policy?

    Maldron Hotel Wexford operates a 24-hour cancellation policy before the arrival date of your booking. Packages are subject to a 48-hour cancellation policy. Some special offers and key dates outlined in the terms and conditions may specify a special cancellation policy applicable to that offer/date.     How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?

    If you have booked via a third-party website, you will need to contact the third-party website directly to amend or cancel your booking as we cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that they have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.

    What does the “no-show” policy entail?

    If guests have a confirmed a booking and do not arrive to check-in to the hotel, the firsts nights’ accommodation will be charged to the credit/debit card provided at booking stage.
