Yes, we offer a limited same-day laundry service by an outside company. Once items are received before 10am, we strive to have them returning by close of business on the same day. Please note that charges do apply and that the hotel accepts no responsibility for items sent for laundry.

Maldron Hotel Wexford is approximately a 5-minute drive from the main shopping area of Wexford town where you will find many chain stores as well as local boutiques for all your shopping needs.
How close are public transport links to the hotel?
Wexford train station is located less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel. Wexford bus, a private bus company, operates an hourly service to and from Wexford town with a bus stop directly outside the hotel entrance. Wexford Bus also operates hourly services to and from Dublin with stops directly outside the hotel. Bus Eireann bus stop is located a 20-minute walk from the hotel entrance.

Maldron Hotel Wexford is the perfect base for exploring all that the sunny south-east has to offer. Irish National Heritage Park, Johnstown Castle, Curracloe Beach, Rosslare Strand and so much more are all located within a short driving distance of the hotel.

The nearest car rental is Hertz Rental Car which is located in Ferrybank, Wexford a 10-minute drive from the hotel.
Is parking available at the hotel?
Yes, we provide complimentary car parking as well as on-site coach parking for hotel residents and guests. Paid parking is available for guests not using the hotel facilities at a charge of €5 per day. Maldron Hotel Wexford does not operate a barrier system on our car park entrance so is perfect for larger vehicles. Vehicles are parked at their own risk in the hotel car park. Maldron Hotel Wexford has semi adaptable rooms which have a larger floor space, larger bedroom entrance, adapted bathroom facilities with a low-rise bath and an assistance alarm linked directly to the hotel reception. We also have elevators.

Yes, the hotel has a number of larger family rooms that can cater for up 6 guests. We also have a number of interconnecting rooms available at an additional charge.
Can I get a cot/camp bed for my child?
Yes, cots and camp beds can be provided at the hotel at no extra charge. Please ensure that they are requested at the booking stage in order to avoid disappointment. Maldron Hotel Wexford cannot confirm the availability of cots/camp beds if only requested on arrival to the hotel.
Are the hotel rooms air-conditioned?
Unfortunately, our bedrooms are not air-conditioned.
Do the bathrooms have a shower or a bath?
All hotel bedrooms have a bath and shower.

All hotel rooms have a hairdryer, iron and ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities and toiletries. Some bedrooms also have a fridge. If you wish to store you belonging safely, safety deposit boxes are available for guest use at the reception.
Yes, we are renowned for a great selection of breakfast options available each morning. Choose from traditional cooked breakfast favourites as well as healthier and nutritious options to kickstart your morning. Breakfast is served 7 days a week in our Grain & Grill restaurant, Monday to Friday from 7am to 10am and weekends and Bank Holidays from 7:30am to 10:30am. Should you require breakfast outside of these times for an early morning check-out, please do let us know and we can facilitate a continental or take-away breakfast.

Our Grain & Grill restaurant is open for dinner daily from 6pm to 9pm. Grain & Grill lounge is open for Tea/Coffee/Pastries from 10am midweek and 12:30pm weekends. Grain & Grill lounge serves bar food from 12pm midweek and 12:30pm weekends until 9:30pm every night.
Does the restaurant cater food for allergies?
Yes, all of our menus have a full allergy listing. Please don’t hesitate to contact us regarding any specific dietary requirements, our kitchen team will be delighted to assist.

Yes, we offer a separate kids menu in both Grain & Grill restaurant and Grain & Grill bar and lounge.
Do you provide room service?
Yes, in-room dining is available daily. Simply order from our Click & Go menu, available through our Guest Service Platform. The food can be collected at the collection point in our restaurant at your requested time.
Is there a reservation for dinner required?

Please note that at the moment due to the current government guidelines, we are unable to cater for larger groups in the hotel. A maximum of 6 guests from no more than 2 households are permitted to dine at one table.
Does the hotel offer a swimming pool, spa and gym facilities on-site?
Our leisure centre offers a 20m swimming pool with a separate kid’s pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room as well as a fully equipped gym. The swimming pool is 1.4 meters deep and the kid’s pool is 0.5 meters deep. We offer both indoor and outdoor classes for members and residents. Please note due to current government restrictions, our jacuzzi, sauna and steam room are closed.

The leisure facilities at Maldron Hotel Wexford opens from 7am to 9pm Monday to Friday and from 9am to 7pm at weekends. Please note children must vacate the facilities one hour prior to normal closing time. Body and Soul treatment rooms are open 7 days a week.

Is there an age limit for using the leisure facilities?

A valid credit/debit card is required to secure all bookings, unless in cases where this is otherwise stated. Please note nothing is charged to the card at booking stage when booking directly with the hotel (with the exception of advance purchase offers or bookings that require a deposit. This will be clearly noted on the booking offer). Please note that a pre-authorisation if required on check-in should you wish to avail of credit in the hotel and charge items to your room during your stay.
If a guest wishes to pay cash on arrival, please note that a €100 refundable deposit and proof of ID will be required on check-in.

How can I cancel my reservation if I booked via a third-party website?
If you have booked via a third-party website, you will need to contact the third-party website directly to amend or cancel your booking as we cannot do that on your behalf. Please note that they have their own cancellation policies, so please refer to your confirmation email.
What does the “no-show” policy entail?
If guests have a confirmed a booking and do not arrive to check-in to the hotel, the firsts nights’ accommodation will be charged to the credit/debit card provided at booking stage.
